R.A. Edwards & Partners Ltd. has vast experience of working on Historic or Listed Buildings having successfully completed numerous projects over the years. Our management and site teams have received extensive training to ensure all of our works are completed to the specification, and we have experience of working with Building Surveyors and Conservation officers.
We have carried out projects for a number of local authority and private clients who work with the National Trust and English Heritage. Over the past three years we have been carrying out on-going repair and maintenance works at the Shugborough Hall Estate all in accordance with the National Trust and English Heritage Specifications.
Over the years we have completed works to Ornate Churches, Grade 1, 2 and 2* Buildings, Public Buildings, and Private Properties. The type of works we generally undertake include plaster repairs, lime rendering, timber repairs or replacement, brickwork repairs and re pointing using lime mortar, stonework repairs, roof repairs, refurbishments, floor repairs, decoration and upgrading fire protection works.
We also have experience in the mitigation of the impact of our construction on wildlife, and in particular protected species.
In recent years R.A. Edwards & Partners Ltd have undertaken construction projects for several religious buildings, including the Baptist Church and the Church of the Brethren. These projects have been great examples of where we have sat down with the Clients and worked on projects from the outset to deliver a product within the timescales and budgets required by the Clients.
